Hand print your own fabric using our wooden mahogany block prints and create your own beautiful lampshade.
Located at the beautiful Dory Gallery, Llangollen, in Denbighshire, north Wales, you will be guided through the different techniques of printing onto textiles using an array of carved wooden blocks.
This is a full day workshop which will include an hour for lunch for you to explore what Llangollen has to offer. E.g. great deli’s and gift shops. Or bring some lunch with you and take in the ambience of the Dory Gallery whilst helping yourself to tea, coffee and biscuits.
You will gain the skills of hand printing onto material and turning your printed creation into your very own lampshade.
All materials will be provided and your tutor for this event will be Catherine Bridget, the founder of Flower Garden Workshops at flowergarden.florist.
This session will start at 10am and finish at 3:30pm to give you plenty of time to do some more exploring of this scenic location.
