A Full Day of Wedding Floristry
Join us for an immersive, hands-on day dedicated to the flowers that make a wedding unforgettable. Hosted by Catherine, founder of The Flower Garden and our wonderful guest florist Helen Garner from The Smithy Garden, Northop, this full-day course takes you through five classic wedding arrangements — giving you the confidence and techniques to create stunning floral designs for your own special day, or to build your skills as a budding flower arranger.
We work with locally grown, seasonal flowers throughout the day, celebrating the very best of what our gardens and local growers have to offer. It’s floristry the #GrownNotFlown way — beautiful, sustainable, and full of natural character.
What You’ll Make
Morning session:
- Bridal bouquet — learn to build a balanced, hand-tied bouquet with movement and seasonal texture
- Buttonholes (boutonnières) — master the neat, wearable arrangements worn by the wedding party
- Corsage — create an elegant corsage with secure, comfortable fastenings
Afternoon session:
- Long table centrepiece — design a low, flowing arrangement perfect for a wedding table
- Bud jar arrangements — craft charming, informal jars ideal for scattering across tables and windowsills

- A full day of expert tuition from two experienced florists

Who It’s For
This course suits complete beginners and those with some experience alike — whether you’re planning your own wedding, considering a career in floristry, or simply love the idea of spending a creative day among beautiful flowers. No previous experience is necessary.
